I am a UKCP registered psychotherapist, Group Analyst and Training Group Analyst offering long term individual and group analytic psychotherapy or shorter more focused work as well as supervision.
Alongside my private practice, I am an honorary psychotherapist for the Trauma Unit at the Tavistock Clinic, in the historical childhood abuse team.
I have a special interest in working with unexplained physical symptoms; making sense of the body’s communication and what I see as the transformational quality of putting this into words.
My initial training was as a Drama and Movement Therapist and I later went on to train as a psychodynamic psychotherapist and Group Analyst at the Institute of Group Analysis.
I have over 20 years of experience, working in the NHS in adult psychotherapy, psycho-dermatology and the perinatal parent infant mental health service as well as in private practice, charitable organisations and further education.
I am part of a team responsible for clinical services at the Institute of Group Analysis. For many years I was an integral staff member on the Jungian informed MA Drama and Movement Therapy, at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and on the MSc Psychodynamics of Human Development at the British Psychotherapy Foundation.
I am a full member of:
I abide by the codes of professional conduct stipulated by my regulatory and training bodies, the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and the Institute of Group Analysis (IGA).
I have professional Indemnity & public liability insurance for all my work as a psychotherapist and supervisor.
I am registered with The ICO and acknowledge and agree that personal data is stored in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations. Privacy Policy
